Your photo must adhere to the following guidelines: -Your head must be free of any items (no hats, caps, scarves, headphones, sunglasses, etc.) -Nothing can be covering your face (no hair, symbols, scarves, sunglasses, etc.) -Photo must be of your full face, head and shoulders only (must be front-facing with no side shots or angle views - must be looking directly at the camera with every part of your face and head visible) -Photo must be recent (within the past 6 months - reasonably indefinable yearbook photos will be denied) -Photo must have a solid & neutral colored background (white or off-white) -Photo must be in color (no filters) -Photo cannot be edited or retouched (i.e. images edited with Photoshop or a similar program will be denied) -No Senior Pictures (they do not typically have a solid neutral background and are typically an artistic style shot) -Do not take a picture of a picture -No social media pictures or images with other people cropped out -You may smile if you wish, but it must be your normal and natural smile -This photo will be used as an official form of identification. If you do not feel the image you submit would be appropriate or accepted as a passport photo by the U.S. Department of State, it will probably not be accepted by our office. *For best results, do not submit a photo that was previously taken for a purpose other than your YSU Photo ID. Simply stand against a blank wall and have someone take a picture of your full face, head and shoulders only*
